WA State Nomination Update – New Invitation Round Expected!

Great news for skilled migrants! Western Australia has received an additional interim allocation for the 2025–26 State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP).
This means a new invitation round is expected in November 2025, offering another chance for eligible applicants to receive a WA State nomination.

What This Means

The extra allocation allows WA to continue inviting skilled individuals who can help meet workforce needs across priority industries.
Once the Commonwealth confirms the final allocation, invitations will begin rolling out.

How to Prepare

To maximise your chances of receiving an invitation, make sure your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect is:

  • Up to date

  • Accurate (residency, occupation, qualifications, work history)

  • Matched to an occupation on the WA skilled occupation list

A common reason applicants miss out is simply because their EOI has not been updated.
Reviewing your information now can make a real difference.
