The Department of Home Affairs has updated the English language requirements for the Graduate Visa (subclass 485), effective 07 August 2025.
Applicants must have taken the test within 12 months prior to applying for the visa and must meet the minimum scores indicated in the list below.
For English test scores taken on or after 7 August 2025, applicants must meet the new minimum scores listed below.

Applicants intending to apply for 485 Visa should be aware that the new English requirements effective on 7 August 2025, have increased and are higher than the previous requirements.
