This bursary is available to international students who have graduated with the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and are enrolling or planning to enrol at a university or tertiary pathway provider in Western Australia.
The Western Australian Premier’s WACE Bursary offers up to 50 international WACE graduates a total of $20,000 each to support their living, travel, and study expenses.
To qualify, international WACE graduates must:
- Have completed their WACE at an approved offshore SCSA school within 24 months before applying, or be an offshore Year 12 WACE student on track to complete their WACE within the next 12 months.
- Accept an offer from a Western Australian university or tertiary pathway provider for full-time, onshore enrolment as an international student, with studies starting in the 2024 or 2025 academic year.
- Enrol in a course lasting at least one year (two semesters).
Successful applicants must also:
- Begin their studies onshore at a Western Australian university or tertiary pathway provider for the semester they applied for.
- Provide a copy of their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from the selected institution.
- Have their course attendance confirmed past the relevant census date.
- Provide evidence of their Australian bank account.
